This year the club is sponsoring a Medical Detection Dog named ......     LUNA

Luna 12 weeks March 2017
lunamarch17.jpg

Luna is now aged 12 weeks and has sett led  into life in socialising really well, she took a few days to adjust to life without her litter mates but now is full of energy and fun.

Luna lives with a reti red lady who does lots of volunteering for the charity so she will be meeting lots of people at upcoming events.

She also has her grandchildren around in the school holidays which Luna I’m sure will look forward to.

Luna has just started coming along to puppy classes in the park as she has just completed all her vaccinations. She has also started going to town for short periods of time.

BRILLIANT

For those new to Obedience....In this class (INTRODUCTORY)  only incentives in the form of a toy or rewards are allowed to be carried by the handler in the competition ring and may be given to the dog at the end of an exercise or in between exercises. Rewards include food which must be carried in a small closed container during the exercises. The judge will designate an area in the competitive ring where food may be given to the dog by the handler.

The detailed test will be:

News from Gail about Roger...very exciting!!

Roger will be at Crufts on the Sunday in the Rally Obedience display team, he will be demonstrating twice in the activity ring but I don't know what time yet.

Also I have received an email yesterday from DTW to say that

Roger has WON the DTW Dog of the Year

how funny is that. Apparently we will receive our prize at Crufts, I don't know what day yet but last year it was on the Saturday. I did mention that we were there on the Sunday so they are going to see if they can do it then

Brilliant News - WELL DONE ROGER

ROGER and all his prizes in 2013
